Hi ALL

A couple of problems I am having :(

1. My keyboard is an oldish (2 years) Natural keyboard Pro
with a couple of USB ports and also the internet and media
buttons along the top.
I have downloaded the old (discontinued) driver for this
but still my @ symbol is on the number 2 key and not where
it should be with the ' symbol. I am in Vienna Austria
although all my region settings are at UK across the
board. Any ideas here??

My second problem perhaps is related to the first. If I am
using windows CLassic menu style and I select control
panel I get a strange message telling me windows cannot
find null and I may have typed it incorrectly!! If I ok
this message explorer loads! If I switch back to XP style
menu I do not have this problem??

Any ideas to these two problems.

As an aside they appear to have started when I hot swapped
my mouse (an inteli mouse explorer) and mini disk player
hub from the keyboard USB ports to my new 4 port pci hama
USB card.

Only on that instance when I rebooted windows said that a
registry file was not loads but was recovered from a log
file! This message kept appearing untill I disconnected
the mini disk hub and then dissapeared.

For your first issue it sounds like your regional settings are really set to
"English - US". I would double check.

1. From Regional and Language Options in the Control Panel select the
Languages tab.
2. Click Details...
3. Under "Installed services" area remove any localizations you do not use.
4. Ensure that the entry for "English (United Kingdom) under Keyboard says
United Kingdom. It is possible to set the keyboard to US even though the
Locale is set to UK. If any entries are wrong you can remove them and readd
them correctly.
5. To add: Click Add...
6. Select the Input language - in your case "English (United Kingdom)
7. Select the Keyboard layout/IME - United Kingdom.

Also if you have more than one installed layout you can switch between them
by hitting the Left-Alt and Left-Shift. This is not global though so each
new window will probably open with the default. Hope that helps.
