ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO port address

In my event log, I always have the following two errors (
Windows XP Professional):
1)
AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO
port address (0x4d0), which lies in the 0x4d0 - 0x4d1
protected address range.
This could lead to system instability. Please contact
your system vendor for technical assistance.
2)
AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO
port address (0x4d0), which lies in the 0x4d0 - 0x4d1
protected address range.
This could lead to system instability. Please contact
your system vendor for technical assistance.

I am now running the ACPI BIOS Version 2.50, 10/07/2002,
in my Tecra 8100, so any solutions to get rid of these ?

The error hurts nothing, but a bios upgrade from your mother board site will
cure the problem.

Take a look at these two sites.

Then goto your motherboard manufacturer's website and get the latest bios
and see if it resolves this problem. If it doesn't, contact your
motherboard manufacturer and ask them to resolve this issue, citing the two
links above.

Most current motherboards, if they haven't had the issue resolved already,
have fixes forthcoming in a future bios upgrade.
