Uninstalling a network adapter

When trying to uninstall my NetGear MA101 wireless network
adapter, I get an error that the device could not be
uninstalled because it may be required to boot. Any ideas
how to get rid of it?

Restart your Windows in "Safe Mode" and remove the card.
