I am researching a recurring USB problem experienced with
a palm device hotsyncing with Windows XP Pro.
Communication is lost between one hotsync operation and
the next. Running handspring's "USB Registry" utility
clears up the problem but it comes back the next day. The
computer in question is up-to-date with XP updates (svc
pack 1). I don't know what the utility does, but is there
a permanent fix for this recurring problem?
