I know to access the startup in '98 you type "msconfig"
under "start' then "run."
What is the command to get to selective startup in XP home
addition.

Start > Run, type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter.

Thanks..helping out a friend. Had no idea was the same
command. So I assume you still got to the startup tab and
can deselect whatever you dont need to having running in
the background.....correct ????? And then just reboot.
