When i choose the open command from the right-click menu
on one of my program folders on the start menu, nothing
happens. It won't open the folder for viewing, the
explore command also does not work. This only happens
when using the right-click menu directly on the start
menu.

Hi Wilmer,
Right click the Start button, select Properties, Customize. Scroll through
the options on the Advanced tab and put the check mark back in Enable
dragging and dropping.
Enable Right Click Context Menu (Line 56)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
