i recently formatted winxp and now my modem doesn't show
in network connections. The driver is installed and is
working correctly but i cant get a dialling tone with it
and it worked fine before i formatted windows can anyone
help because i need to retrieve my freeserve account.

Does it show in device manager, if no, then you may need to check if it
is inserted in its slot properly. In the other case, you may like to
uninstall the driver and re-install it.
