error message??

Please help
I've just reinstalled XP on my laptop and all seemed OK
but when I came to play Deltaforce game things looked
rosey up untill it was just about to sart when I got an
error and blue screen that flashed up all too fast?
The pc then restarted givin me the option of sending the
error to MS which I did....any body know whats wrong???

Without the bluescreen message it's a shot in the dark on what happened.

To keep a bluescreen up, if it happens again, go to the Control Panel and open the
"System" applet. Select the "Advanced" tab and then click the "Startup and Recovery"
Settings button. UNCHECK "Automatically restart" in the "System failure" section. Now
it will require you do reboot manually when a bluescreen occurs. you can write down
the error message at that point.
