I bought my laptop from this girl. It came with Windows
Home Edition on it and for school I wanted to have the XP
professional, so I bought the upgrade and put it on. I
activated it and everything, but the programs like Excel,
Powerpoint and everything are not on my computer. What is
wrong with it???

Windows XP Pro is an operating system. It does not include Office
programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. You'll need to
purchase the "full version" of "Microsoft Office XP" in order to have
those programs.

Don't confuse Windows XP with Office XP. They are 2 totally different
programs. Windows XP is the operating system, and it does NOT include any of
the Office XP suite of programs such as Word, Excel, etc.. You will have to
buy Office XP to get them.
