Hi ,
First of all thank you Jim Macklin & Amethyst for your
suggestions.
Actually I don't have indepth knowledge about computers.
I have only one partition in my computer.I have now
switched to Selective start up.Now the system is
connecting to the net but not to its original speed.
I then tried 'Launch System Restore' but pops up the
message 'Not enough disk space'.But i hav 10GB free space
in the disk.
Jim said that the registries might have changed - how to
find them & correct them? Also will Mc Afee be able to
detect the virus if any?
Amethyst,I'll try to remove the things u said & reboot
the system. The problem started like this - 1st day
explore.exe was occupying 99% of the cpu.The next day
Sytem process also took turn.
When i boot the system also it would 15-20 minutes &
System & explore.exe processes would take 99% of CPU in
like 20 seconds.
So can anybody suggest solutions for this problem.
Thanks,
bye
