My PC has two hard drives - a 120 GB that I use as my
primary that has XP loaded on it and a 20GB that I use as
my secondary that has 98SE loaded on it (it was the
orginal drive) - when I remove the SECONDARY drive - the
system can't FIND the primary drive (setup shoes NO hard
drives insatlled) If I move the jumpers on the secondary
from Salce to master and plug it into the master part of
the cable - w98 comes up. With XP is there a process you
must do first to REMOVE a previously installed hard
drive?

Here's a wild guess: the 120GB drive is a Western Digital, right?

There's a different setting for master with slave that there is for master
alone.
