I installed a program called Easy Button for my keyboard
earlier, I now want to install it but when I tried using
the uninstall function which came with the program I get
an error saying that its corrupted, I then tried using
windows uninstaller but I get the same error so I tried
deleting the program through program files and it seems
to have gone but for some reason windows uninstaller
still thinks the program still exist because it is in the
list. When i tried to uninstall it again even though the
program had be deleted it comes up an error stating that
the uninstall file cannot be found, I have tried re
installing the program but it makes no difference.

Does anyone know how to get rid of a program in the
windows uninstaller another way?

Thanks
Gav

Many program names remain in the add/remove list after the program has been
deleted because of poor delete procedures. Two ways to combat this problem.
Often, to get a successful uninstall, you have to install first. (reinstall)
then uninstall. This works about 60% of the time. The other way to delete
the listing is to edit the registry. To do this: Click start--run--key in
'regedit' without quotes and click OK. Then go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/microsoft/windows/current
version/uninstall----find the name you want to delete, highlight it and
delete it.---Exit regedit.
