Hi,

I haven't downloaded the updates given by Microsoft for
XP Home for like 8 months.
How & from where can i download those updates?

Hi Ganapathi,
It would be a good idea to consider, if you really need all those updates.

Really I would start with SP1 - on a fresh install that should not cause
trouble, and if it should you can reinstall again without throwing
things away.

Then 817287 to avoid possible trouble with other updates, and the
consolidated ones for IE and OE - 813489 and 330994. Add in the
security fixes for scripting and you probably do not need worry much
about others. I would definitely leave out anything referring to
Servers, or the several that mention 'an attacker would have to have
access' - those refer to a malicious employee with Limited rights using
a loophole to promote himself to Full control. If there is no one
untrusted able to log on with limited rights you can do without them
