After installing an HP Deskjet 5550, printing a test page
without fail, I attempted to share the printer. I can go
into printer properties and click the share tab, I can
check off "share this printer" and type in a printer
name. When I click "OK" I receive the following:
"Printer settings could not be saved. Operation could
not be completed."
Any help!!!
Thanks

Are you logged on as an Administrator when you try to save the settings?
