When installing Windows XP, all prior emails in Outlook
Express were wiped out. Is this reversible?

That's because they are now in a different place, but they are not gone.

You cannot make that statement without knowing if he/she did a clean install
or update.

You are quite correct, I made the assumption it was an upgrade (NOT
update by the way, as you say) and Carey made the assumption that it was
a clean install. Until the op posts back, I guess we will never know,
will we? And as he/she is posting via CDO, they may never even see our
responses.<vbg>
