IP port format

Hope somebody can help me with this problem. I am trying
to set up WINmx on my computer. I have a router connected
for my son's playstation. What I have to do get WinMX
running is set it up manually. I have to use the IP port
format to do this and I have no clue how. Also, I think I
need to type in a different port# to use, also I have no
clue. The linksys guide does not help. Anyone? thanks.
