On saturday I installed Musicmatch Jukebox but on
starting my computer on Sunday I found that both my CD &
DVD drives have disappeared. Suspecting MMJ i uninstalled
the software but to no avail. In Device Manager it states
that both the drives have been disabled but when you try
to enable them it says Windows will not allow it. Both
drives display a code 22 in device manager. Both drives
will open but I cannot access them through "My computer".
I have checked for viruses with Nortons and checked the
registry through Nortons but it reports no problems.
HELP me get my drives back !
Do i really need to do a restore ?

Hi, Andy.

Have you found WinXP's Disk Management yet? At the Run prompt, type:
diskmgmt.msc

Disk Management should show you both CD/DVD drives and allow you to assign
or reassign their drive letters so that they don't conflict with your hard
drive volumes. Also, there is a very helpful Help file here.
