For some reason regardless of the fact that I've changed my instant message
window background and made it my default MSN doesn't seem to save the
setting. I have to go back and set it to the default again. Anyone know
why its doing that? Thanks...

Greetings Joshua,
You may want to open any Messenger window, click the Tools menu, then Options, then Privacy
tab, and verify that "This is a shared computer so don't store my address book, display
picture or backgrounds on it" isn't selected.
