View Full Version : Digital binoculars not being recognized

I had the same problem with a scanner - where the program
it comes with works but the computer still doesn't think
the device is there. So I would think the solution is
similar to what I did...

My first guess would be that you don't have the proper
drivers for them, and thus your system has no idea what is
plugged into it. Usually when you plug some sort of
imaging device into a USB port you'll get a little pop-up
saying that windows has detected it. I'm assuming that
doesn't happen for you. Try going to the website for the
binoculars... they should have a download for Windows XP
drivers and/or installation software. The photo manager
software is just the program that allows for the easier
manipulation of your photos, but without the right drivers
your computer won't know how to connect to the
binoculars.
