Hi you who can help me and show me how to get help,

I've already opened a ticket with MS supportand got one response
(below). I don't think the problem is fixed and I can't seem to get
MSoft's attention anymore. I replied to their email but I never heard
from you them. I assumed my mail was not accepted and I went back to the
form. That doesn't work anymore. I get
---
Error is:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]String data, right truncation

/eform/utf8eform.asp, line 362

or simply

Q1) Does anyone know a reliable way of submitting bugs and following up
after that?

Here's the the history of the problem with my response (one update, a
day later I got more than 40 pop-ups when I started Messenger and now I
can only shut it down after trying to block the first few users and get
the same error)

Q2) Can anyone offer a fix for what I've described below? THANKS!!!

Hi Joel,

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately this problem is not resolved. As I
mentioned, it's been persisten for the past couple of weeks. The list of
pop-ups for people to be added is now grown to 35 and render the
messenger useless as it takes at least 105 clicks to close them all
(click block, click ok, get the error, click ok) every time i sign in. I
tried it last night when I got your mail, then again... and this morning
again. The only difference is that the 20 or so new requests that I had
to block are now 35.

Please assist. THANKS!
Marv

To ensure a quick resolution, provide as many details as possible,
including the date and time the problem occurred, a description of what
you were trying to do, the detailed steps you took that led up to the
problem, and details on any error messages that you received.:Hi Support,

I'm no longer able to block users that keep adding me. I assume my ID is
very common and lots of stranger keep adding me (some days 10 and more
unknown people would attempt to add me). For the past week or so I've
been unable to block any of them. Messenger keeps telling me that there
was an error and I should try again later. I'm at the point that I get
more than 20 pop-ups every time I start Messenger and I think I keep
seeing all of those that I'm unable to block over and over again. Have I
reached the limit of the blocked list? What do I do to get only my
friends in my list and no one else?

Thanks in advance,
Marv
