Greetings.
I need to access a USB data card reader while working in
DOS mode. What do I need to add to my DOS startup disk
files in order to allow this?
TIA,
Wonker

Are you saying it can't be done. Somehow I doubt that.

Hello
Am not saying that but I did read a few post about others users
asking the same issue and from the last 3 post I saw on it the issue
was not resolved

I am fairly certain that MS-DOS cannot accesss USB devices.
I do know that Norton Ghost has certain USB drivers to allow use of drive
cloning using their software (but that would be a example of one specific
instance using specific software to perform one one operation)

You need a DOS USB driver. I use DUSE. Try searching for it on Google, if
you can't find it e-mail me and I'll send it to you.

Greetings --
Ask the manufacturer of the card reader if they provide a DOS USB
driver.
