Monitor Power Turnoff Problem

Hi,

I have a minor, but annoying problem. When I set the monitor power turnoff
time interval, it works -- for a while. After a random number of successful
turnoffs, it just stops working. When I reset it to a different interval,
same result -- it works a few times, then stops. Any suggestion on where to
look?
