My computer is now making a new noise, the little speeker
on the bottom right hand side of the screen,near the
clock, is now making a different noise..sound is now
coming out of my cpu ..when you click on it and it gives
you a thing where you can change the volume up and down
or mute..this noise that i makes now is not the noise it
made befor..I did get my first virus and my scan got rid
of it..is it possible that it has some how changed that
particular thing? and is there a way i can fix this?
maybe rerun on of my disks for this computer? any help
would be great thannks

Hi Tiffany,

This edit resets the ding.wav:

Fix the Ding.wav File (Line 6)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
