When I got my new computer I had a bar across the top
indicating A, C, D, E drive and also two little
greaterthans that expanded my documents.
After installing internet, the bar is gone. how do I get
it back.

Try this:

Right-click the taskbar and go to Toolbars->New Toolbar. Once there,
select "My Computer" and then choose OK. Once you've done this, drag
the new "My Computer" toolbar which is on the taskbar to the top of
the desktop.

Right click on the Taskbar, select Toolbars, New Toolbar and highlight My
Computer in the Browse dialog that opens. Click Ok. You'll see this
toolbar on your Taskbar. Left click in a blank area of the My Computer
toolbar and drag it to the location you want it on your screen.
