The two limited accounts on our PC can not access any of
their personal files, such as My computer, My pictures,
Contol Panel, etc...When they try to, they get this error
message...
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error
Runtime Error
Program C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to
terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact
the applicant's support team for more information.

I ( administrator ) don't have this problem. So all the
limited accounts can really do is sign on to the internet
and surf, unless they use my desktop. I have ran a
sfc/scannow, not knowing if that has anything to do with
it, and it must not because it still has the error
message. We have had this system (Dell/supported Windows
XP) for 2-3 years and not any problems until this. Please
help....I'd like for my son to start using his own
desktop!
Thanks
Diane

Sounds like you have an old incompatible application installed
installed that is interfering with Windows XP.
Do you have Visual Studio C++ installed?
What other applications do you have installed?
