View Full Version : Copying a whole disk to another

When I worked with windows 98 or 2000, a screen came up
when I put a disc in A drive. First it showed how much of
the disc was already full (a percentage) and also had a
COPY DISC icon along the toolbar. When I hit that, it
started copying and then informed me when to put in the
blank disc for copying. I now have XP and can't find
either feature when I go to floppy drive A.
Thanks

A neat alternative would to copy and paste the contents.
Also you can try:
Start>Run
"cmd"
Once the prompt comes up, type:
DISKCOPY a: a:
Follow instructions.
Good Luck

Pop the floppy to copy into the A drive. Right click the A drive icon in My
Computer and select "Copy Disk"
AFAIK the "Copy Disk Icon" you mentioned is not a default option in the
toolbar for either Win98 or Win2000. You must have added it through custom
settings some way.
