volume

i cannot turn down my volume- im not sure if im doing it
wrong or if its broken- please help! i know this is
stupid!

Not stupid...do you have a volume control on your keyboard?
Do you have volume control on amplified speakers?
Have you looked in the system tray for an icon for sound or
volume?
Open the control panel, then "sounds and audio devices" (you
may also have another for a sound card). On the sounds and
audio page there is a check box to add an icon for volume to
the system tray.
