I bought a Seal Sound card and I installed it correctly
and the windows xp recongnizes it. When I try to set it
as my default playing device, the card doesnt show up as
an option, actually I cant select anything(that part of
the screen is inactive). I can however choose the device
as my microphone and all other options. What could the
problem be???
Thanx

Hello
Why not buy a brand name card like creative labs and not have
to worry about it. (sound Blaster)

Which model.
Have you checked their company website for driver or firmware updates? Just
because it is reconized does not mean that it is using the correct drivers.
Just to be sure, download the current drivers from the manufacturer's
website.
