Handwriting Recognition

Can I use a handwriting input tool on a desktop pc and,
if so, what/how do I go about it?

you basically need something like a wacom tablet. This is a small unit (you
can get larger) complete with a stylus that allows you to write (among othe
things) on the tablet so that it appears on your pc. Most i think are now
usb and shopuld be easy enough to set up.
