When using the internet or email I get random blue screen
crashes.
Error message
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0X000000D1
(0X0000000C,0X00000002,0X00000000,0XEE90CC05)
tcpip.sys -Address EE90CC05 base EE900000, DateStamp
3d6de222
Have tried the Microsoft knowledge base to no avail.
I am using a Microlink Fun USB modem on newly built
machine with XP Pro SP1. All else works perfectly. No
errors in device manager.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL
that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that
uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by faulty or
mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile

Interestingly I've been having problems with ddr400 ram
due to poor motherboard support and had to temporarily
revert to three sticks of 266 (which is unmatched). This
is being replaced soon with new matching memory. Also my
pagefile is on the D drive on my system to reduce
fragmentation so I may move it back to C drive. Regarding
the possibility of a bad driver, other than motherboard
and ram the remaining hardware and drivers are identical
to previous system (if it works, don't try to fix
it!),which is what surprised me about this error.
