data transfer

im trying to transfer data from laptop to pc and vice
versa both have network cards installed. What kind of
cable do I need to connect them up. And what kind of
transfer speeds am I looking for with these cables.

Go out and purchase you a CROSS-OVER cable
and that's pretty much all you need

i need the one that doesnt need a hub to connect it. is

With a Cross-Over cable you don;t need a hub
