XP & Office 2000 problem

I have had to recover my laptop and after reinstalling
all the software, when I try to install Office 200, I get
a message that I mus install my xp profesional disk.
Being that I am using XP home, I have no pro disk. I
know that there is a p[roblem with the registry. Can
anyone help, the techs at toshiba are to stupid to figure
out what to do. Had the same promblem 1 1/2 years ago
and they knew exactly what to do, now they have not a
clue. Please help, desperate.

Just put the XP Home CD in the drive or point the installer to
c:\windows\i386
