FILE PROBLEMS

I had a bunch of .jpg pictures scattered all around my
hard drive and I organized them into a fold... now I can't
access some of the files... when I try to move them, or
delete them I get an error: Error moving files or
folders... or Cannot move access denied. I tried changing
attributes, because read-only is checked... but then I get
an error applying attributes. I tried going into safe
mode with command prompt and couldn't delete the files
there either.

Before moving the file, be sure it is not open in any program.

Also, if the files came from folders belonging to old accounts, you may
need to "take ownership." The Windows Help and Support file has
directions for how to do this.
