updates

I reformated my computer using restore disc that my
computer came with and now i can not get alot of the
updates. Does anyone know why this would be.

You need to delete the catroot2 folder ( a catalog of
downloads, it will be recreated automatically).
C:\windows\system32\catroot\catroot2

One of the updates is a fix for the update problem.

No! The catroot2 file is in system32 not 'catroot'. Should state
C:\windows\system32\catroot2
