NotePad runs minimized

Strange thing, Notepad opens normal maximized any time
when clicking directly on the Notepad icon. When opening
a text file by clicking on the file or viewing source
from a web page, it runs minimized. Not sure when this
started happening could have been when an update/patch
was applied. I have roamed the registry and insured that
my program is set to run maximized.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

As long as I can remember, Notepad has opened with a "standard" sized
window when double clicking a TXT file or opened from its shortcut.

There is an option in any shortcut's properties that will set the window
size to maximized, minimized, or normal. The size will only apply to the
instance of the application started from that specific shortcut.
