icons appear and reappear

I am a new user of windows xp. After searching any
website on IE6, a spyware icon appears on my desktop.
When I delete it, it will reappear once I click on IE6.
Any advice? Thanks.

If it's spyware, the free version of AdAware will almost certainly remove
it: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ After you've installed it, run the update
to get the latest Reference File (like a virus definitions file for
spyware/adware) before using it.
