IE constantly crashing

My Internet Explorer crashes about every 15 minutes or
so. I have other software that won't load or work also.
I would like to re-load XP home however my computer came
with it pre-loaded so I do not have a XP CD. If I re-
install will I need to re-load all of my other software.

Laura, does it give you error messages when it crashes. Yes if you
reinstall XP you will have to load all your other software. Can you do a
System Restore. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
