NetMeeting

As far as i am aware there is no updated netmeeting
application for XP. The version you are trying to
download is for Windows 95,98,Me and, as you have found
out, it is not compaitble with Windows XP.
I have to admit that a lot of the ils services that i
have used previously seem to have either disappeared or
else they are becoming exceeding difficult to access
their server. It may be that, with XP using Windows
Messenger for video conferencing more so than netmeeting,
the usual servers are not experiencing the traffic they
used to. looking towards the future i think (and this is
a personal assumption not an offical one) that netmeeting
will be fazed out in favour of Windows Messenger.
