CD ROM activate

my cd rom dvd and rw are registered in the bios but will
not come up with windows can't install driver message
reads code 39 can not boot to cd to repair with disc

You have lft-over references in the registry to some driver fie,
probably associated with old CD burning software and which is no longer
around. To tidy up, get a registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on it and merge
it into the registry

You will then need to reinstall any burning software that you use.
