I have a CD-ROM and CD-RW. ROM is set as master and RW is
set as slave every thing is hooked up right. Qustion is
ROM drive is set to Ultra DMA mode 2 and RW drive is PIO
when I have it set for DMA if available.I had the same 2
drives in an older system and I could set both to Ultra
DMA mode 2. is this a problem? and what dose PIO stand
for.THE PIO mode in bios is mode 4.
