Hi
I've got seven different User Accounts on my PC all of them set up as
Administrators, my problem is that two of them seem to be locked out from
the others. So if I try to copy a file from one of these two accounts I get
a system error saying "Access is denied". Although the two accounts work
perfectly well if you log into them. Because I've just had to completely
re-format and re-install everything on my C: drive I copied (using Norton
Ghost) everything over to a temporary G: drive, now I want to copy back all
the documents. I have been able to do this successfully on all the accounts
except for these two which are still denying me access. Even if I log into
the blocked account, it still doesn't allow me access to the user files on
the backup G: drive for that account. I'm at my wits end with it. How can
I get the documents from these User Accounts. If anyone can help I'll be
really happy! Thanks for reading this.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to do as you suggested, but when I
right-click the folder and click properties I get a box up that has three
tabs:- General, Sharing & Customize. If I click Sharing it says that I
should drag the folder into Shared files for access. However it won't let
me and I get an error saying "Cannot create or replace folder: Access is
denied"
I don't think that the actual folder is corrupt because as I explained the
user account used to work (pre back-up) if you logged into it, but other
users couldn't access it.
Do you or anyone else have any other suggestions please? The person whose
User Account it is, is Not Happy having lost all their files, emails &
contacts etc.!!
Thanks
Miranda
