My name was incorrectly entered as Hopps (instead of
Hoppes) when initially installed. Now everytime I go to
install software it shows my name incorrectly. Is there
any way I can fix this?

You should be able to modify the registered owner key in the registry:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\
