system crash.

I recently installed xp on my computer. When i have been
on for about 30 mins, usually on internet but has
happened on games too. The computer crashes. When it re-
boots its either making comments about hang time error,
application error or files that are not valid which it
will truncate and it rewrites files.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? I have tried
scan , virus de frag etc

Overheating maybe. Make sure all the fans
inside the case are working.

Possibly memory. Download memtest86 from
http://www.memtest86.com/ and run it for a few
passes. You should get zero errors.
