Howdy,
Previouse post 9/09/03 un-answered-> I have been using
this microphone for a while with no
problems and then after reinstalling Win XP Home Edition,
WELLA! No sound. Most or all mic type set up buttons are
greyed out. I'm using nothing other than that which came
with the pc, HP Pavilion 7935 with Windows XP-Home
Edition. I need to know what drivers I need to
reinstall for this thing to work. Mute is unchecked, but
no changes, Recorder greyed out too. Been through the
settings, but don't know which drivers this thing takes.
The mic worked on the Monitor I had before, M70 with
built in speaker and then I switched to a flat panel, but
had to get a stand alone mic for it, yet the stand alone
worked fine until last week when I had to reinstall Win
XP and all updates. That was a wopper of a weekend
installing all that stuff. One more problem, the mic's
drivers like maybe a generic somewhere? Please you nice
people out there, solutions?<-end post

Well, that previous post was posted on September 9, 2003
and no response, but I found that msblaster worm and got
rid of it. Went to HP for tech support and then they sent
me back here, round and round I go, when it stops nobody
knows. Still no mic and I know darn well and better that
it works. The sound configurations after update don't
look right though. Help?

Is your audio driver installed? Does the startup sound play? Do your
see an error in Device Manager for the audio, or no audio at all?
