When I create the Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro Desktop for a new user
in my Windows 2003 domain, I manually perform the following modifications to
default Windows settings:
1 - Taskbar:
a - Hide inactive icons = False.
b - Show Quick Launch = True.
c - Group similar taskbar buttons = False.
2 - Start Menu:
a - Classic Start menu = True.
b - Display Log Off = True.
c - Use Personalized Menu = False.
3 - My Computer & Folder Options:
a - View = Details.
b - Use Windows classic folders = True.
c - Display the full path in the title bar = True.
d - Show hidden files and folders = True.
e - Hide extensions for known file types = False.

I would like to script this. Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Hi Dick,

You may want to visit MVP Kelly's website where you would find most of the changes in the form of
..reg and .vbs files.
