I have XP Pro. It was already on HP computer partitioned
with HP (Fat) partition 16 MB, C Drive (System)(NTFS
partion 10 GB and D drive NTSF)partition 27+ GB.
I tried to remove D partition so that C would be the only
drive using Disk Management tool, but D just became
unallocated free space. C still remained at 10 GB. I re
formatted D to gain use of it back. Anyone know if I can
reallocate all free space to C? I have Administrator
rights.

You will have to use a third party software, such as Partition Magic, to do
this.
