Sudden, unexplained loss of HP Deskjet952C installation on
Dell Inspiron 5100 w/Windows XP Home. Response to "Add
Printer" is: "Operation could not be completed." I don't
think the "Add Print Wizard" is working. Dell support
has unsuccessfully tried all sorts of things with the
spooler, etc., and software disc that came with printer
will not load. I'm waiting for a response from HP E-mail
tech support. ..... Another error message under Device
Manager is: "Help Ctr.exe-Entry Point Not Found" (Title
of window="Cicero UIWnd") ..... I'm not real computer
savvy so don't know what has happened. Don't even know
which company has the answer, Dell, HP, or MS! Help!

COMPLETELY uninstall and reinstall:
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article%20One.htm

After Step 5 use the Add Printer Wizard. The drivers are built into XP.
