Hi

I have Windows XP Pro and a FujiFlim digital cam. When I
plug the camera into the USB port, the cam is detected by
the system but the "auto play" window no longer opens.
I've tried playing with the auto play option in the
properties of the device but nothing works. Any
ideas????/

Thanks in advance,

Pat

To what mode is the camera set? It must be set to transfer
photos. Also, are you using internal batteries or external
power for the camera, Fuji says that low batteries will
cause transfer to fail and may cause loss of data.

You did not say what the make of your computer was. I had a similar problem
on my dell system with the creative soundblaster sound card and Fuji S602
camera .

Had been having problem with AutoPlay. Received the following from
Microsoft-public users group
If your Dell is like mine, it came with a Creative Soundblaster soundcard.
Creative is aware of the problem using autoplay features such as cameras.
They have issued a patch which corrects the problem. It is the third choice
down on this page:

This seems to have fixed the problem.
