Slave drive

Just installed a secondary HDD on Windows XP,the device
manager says that the new HDD is working properly but
when i go into MY COMPUTER it only shows the original HDD
(c)drive and not the new drive. Any advice would be most
helpful.

First, you have to make some partitions and then format it

Try that:
start -> run -> diskmgmt.msc

right click your new drive (Disc1 maybe) -> format or if there is some
partition tool..

after all -> reboot
