Troubleshooter detected that a com port may be disabled

I checked under Device Manager, but I could not
find "Ports (Com & LPT)" listed. Troubleshooting involved
modem, which checks out as "enabled" but will not connect
to the internet even though it dials. Thanks for your
help.

Go to www.modemsite.com you may need to use an init string or even a
different driver.
